Wren Consultancy CIC is an award winning business set up in 2006 and registered as a Community Interest Company in 2013. Director Caroline Burrows-Wren has been teaching for over 20 years in Further Education, and started the company after realising there was a gap in the adult education market for tailored IT tuition.

Over the years Wren Consultancy CIC has grown organically into offering a range of services. Based at Corner House in Braintree, we offer extensive employment support services and work closely with both the Braintree and Witham Jobcentres. We have built up an excellent reputation for our CV writing service and can assist with the writing of C.Vs and cover letters. We have exclusive access to training opportunities, and are able to arrange free qualifications in areas such as forklift training, Health and Social Care, Sage and accounting. We assist clients with their search for employment, and furthermore we are unique in the fact that we are the only centre within a 30 mile radius offering 1-to-1 support and unlimited free access to our computers for clients to use (No booking required). We also offer our clients assistance with filling out benefit claims up to and including pensions.

Wren Consultancy CIC continues to fill the gap in the adult education market by providing tailored IT training for those who need it. We also firmly believe that theOver 60s in our society face inequality due to a lack of computer literacy, we strive to promote independence and social inclusion with our sessions. Our client database even includes two individuals who are over the age of 100 years of age. We tailor our sessions for each client, and have been praised for our patience and the avoidance of technical jargon; we provide IT training whether the client has never turned on a computer before or whether they want to move on to something more advanced such as Excel spreadsheets.

All services that Wren Consultancy offers are free of charge for the unemployed and for those on other benefits.
