Why have you emailed me about data protection?
Under new data protection regulations General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will come into effect in May 2018, we are required to obtain your consent to retain and process this information.
Why do you need my consent?
Because we hold your details on our database in respect of your user account, we now legally need to obtain your consent to continue to process that information and communicate with you about our services.
What happens if I don’t consent?
If your consent is not provided then under the regulations we must delete your records and will not be able to managing your client account on the Directory Website or any listings which you have associated with your client account.
Where have you got my Information from?
Your personal details stored in our system, provided directly from you when you registered with the Directory website.
How long do you keep my details for?
If you grant us consent we will keep your details whilst our service is still relevant and whilst you wish us to continue to advertise your listings for you. We can delete your details from our database upon your written instructions, alternatively we will seek further consent in 2 years’ time.

What if I later want to withdraw consent?
You can withdraw consent at any time by simply emailing email@example.com Please include some personal information such as name, address and phone number for easy identification. We may contact you to confirm your details to ensure we treat your data correctly.
