The 2019 Goodenergy Malakas – Charity Bike Ride
The 9th running of the annual weekend cycle ride to Portsmouth. It started in 2011, going from Ipswich Royal Hospital School, in memory of a very close friends dad, ending at The Seagull in Portchester, in memory of my dad.
Since then, we have done another 2 years from Ipswich, then moving to start in Brecon Beacons, with an overnight stay in Bath. All years have been around 185 miles in total, lots of pedalling, lots of padded bike seats, and lots of laughs, but always remembering those not with us, or still fighting these illnesses.
Those remembered, are with us on our t-shirts, the list grows every year unforuneatly, but that’s life I guess.
Please donate if you can, and be there to greet us with a smile on Sunday 16th June evening at the seagull.
